We had the good fortune of connecting with Anetra Watkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anetra, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is putting in the hard work, remaining consistent, not rushing the process and staying true to not only myself but my brand as well. Building a solid foundation has its up’s and its downs but as long as I’ve stayed true to my core, continue to build from the ground up and keep trying my best. I will continue to witness the fruits of my labor.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Inspire the lives of others around the world through the lenses of NoShade Luxury Eyewear designed for all ages and ethnicities. What sets us apart from others is our unique sense of style, we do not duplicate or imitate. Our frames are one of a kind and can only be purchased directly from us. There’s a wonderful feeling that NoShade provides as well. Once they’re applied to the face there’s an instant feeling of confidence, fearlessness, passion, vibrancy that radiates. I’m super excited for growth and what God has in store for NoShade, it’s just the beginning to something so amazing. I got to where I am today by having faith and believing in myself. Nothing worth having will come easy, it’s all in your perseverance. I’ve learned that it is okay to make mistakes and that sometimes you may not know all of the answers at first but there’s tons of growth in transparency. My goal is to be a positive impact to the world and be the change I hope to see.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Best friend in the area we’re going to eat at J.R. Crickets. 10 piece hot, crispy, dripping, large bleu cheese, with fries. We both love to skate so we’re definitely stopping by Cascade. Mexican food is a must so I’d recommend Cozumel Catina. The sun is shinning bright so we’re going to have lunch at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant in Buckhead and head to a Atlanta Hawks or Braves game. JJ’s Rib Shack is super good, she has to try it! We’re advocates for mental health so a relaxing massage then day at Centennial Olympic park or maybe even climb stone mountain.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to first thank God; without him I am nothing! Thank you to all of my family and friends who believed in NoShade Luxury Eyewear since day one. I would also like to send a huge thank you to our customers and supporters along with the organizations around the world that believe in our vision.
