We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Salop and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrew, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Started my business after a ten year career playing basketball overseas and wanted my own talk show! I thought the podcast route would be best and I never turned back.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think the art of conversation is most important to me! I got to where I am today by staying consistent, finding ways to get better, and collaborating with great people!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a hooper at heart so i would take them to the gym LOL Hopefully they hoop which most of my friends do!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I draw inspiration from within! My son Horatio is inspiring! I do love to read and do it daily. Robert Greene is my go-to author and I read his books repeatedly!
