Meet Andrea Vahoua | Spiritual Life Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Vahoua and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrea, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

My thought process was simple. This business has always been about sharing the tools that helped me evolve with the world. If I had only helped one person, I would have been satisfied but to know that I’ve helped thousands is something beyond words! My thought process wasn’t complicated. It was simply centered around, helping people see themselves in a brighter light.

Healing isn’t easy but if we do it together everyone feels less alone and I think that is beautiful. That is success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I would love to! I am Drea Michelle, the owner and founder of The Sun Goddess, LLC. I am a Spiritual Coach and Intuitive Healer! What sets my work apart is my dedication to authenticity. I focus on meeting my clients and followers exactly where they are at without any judgment or preconceived notions on what is “good” or “bad”. Every soul is different and everyone’s journey is different and I pride myself on inclusivity and ensuring everyone feels comfortable when they are in contact with me.

One of the biggest challenges I faced in the beginning stages of my business was feeling like I needed to moderate or dim down the work I wanted to do to become more palatable and generally likable. However, over time I realized that by sticking to my niche and really focusing on my own integrity, my business grew exponentially, just from me being myself wholeheartedly. Authenticity is truly the key to success in my opinion.

I want the world to know that healing is not linear and it is not the same for everybody but it can be done.  Asking for help and accepting that help is the first step. You don’t have to do it alone, nor should you have to , and that is where myself & my company step into the picture. This is a safe space for all to find a home.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Ooooo ok so boom:

One day, we will keep it chill and go to Crystal Blue to do a little crystal shopping and then grab some food from the Juicy Crab!

The next day we could do brunch at Atlanta Breakfast Club, and then go to the Georgia Aquarium. After that we decompress and meditate in Piedmont Park then have dinner at Two Urban Licks! We could then go out for drinks in Buckhead and bar hop!

The day after that we would do brunch at Huskie’s Kitchen, we HAVE to get the stuffed French toast 😍, and then walk around Ponce City Market and make some custom candles at Candlefish! Of course we’d do dinner at Ruby Chows and then have a night cap at Barcelona Wine Bar!

Haha I could go on forever but those are my favorites!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

I have been encouraged and elevated by so many wonderful people that it is hard to pick only a few, but I will be honest and say that books have been some of my greatest teachers and sources of encouragement & light along my journey!

Roxane Gay, bell hooks, and Toni Morrison have elevated & assisted me so much along my journey and I want to give a massive shout out to the work that they’ve done in helping marginalized communities find healing! If anyone deserves recognition in my story, it has definitely been them.

Achieving success without a blueprint can be extremely scary at times but the literary works that these beings shared with the world helped me too write my own blueprint to where I am today and I think that’s super special.
