We had the good fortune of connecting with Andre Parker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andre, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
There’s no better way to be happy than becoming one of the most iconic symbols of happiness and joy. Santa Claus is a symbol of peace, joy, love, happiness, and the Christmas Spirit of giving. The smiles and looks of surprise and joy on the faces of children and adults are my sole reason to exist as Santa. Being Santa Andre is pure happiness.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a black Santa in a very diverse geographic area. I strive to make every experience unique to our clients. I do not believe in cookie-cutter performances and experience. It takes a continued investment of time and financial resources to be a successful Santa/Christmas performer. Santa suits, accessories, insurance, and continued Christmas performer education are a part of the process. I believe that our Mission Statement says a lot about what we want the world to know about our brand and story.
“We strive to embody the essence of professionalism as Santa Claus, ensuring that every interaction is filled with warmth, joy, and a genuine spirit of giving. With meticulous attention to detail, impeccable attire, and a deep understanding of the magic of Christmas, We committed to creating extraordinary memories and delivering a truly enchanting experience for all.”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There is so much to do in the Metro Atlanta area. Depending on the time of year I would recommend attending a sports event or concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. A prime example would be attending an Atlanta United match. The energy is nothing short of amazing. The Town of Trillith is one of my favorite one-stop local destinations. Trillith offers everything from breakfast to dinner to include drinks and entertainment.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I will start by recognizing my biggest cheerleader and supporter. My wife! Tanisha Parker! Chief Operating Elf, the woman whose magic is reserved for behind the scenes. She is the brains behind it all. I would like to send a special shoutout to the community. We have enjoyed success in spreading the Christmas Spirit thanks to everyone who has supported us and chosen to spend their valuable time with us.
