Hi Anasiah, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Our business is based on lip care and skin care products. For the actually community that I stay in, no one in the area has done lip care and skincare products, that was honestly something that my community didn’t have around so I thought that it would be a great idea to bring it to the area. In my community I haven’t came across a person that has yet prefer not to have lip gloss or any kind of moisturizer for the body. I would also say that our business helps the world, but it is also giving the world an opportunity to see what other products our out there, and what also works for their skin in general. I also feels as if it helps the world to see young entrepreneurs coming up with different businesses, and products. There are people in the community and the world that tend to look up to what I am doing as far as business wise.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from others is, my passion for the products that we make and my dedication to educating others about skincare and lip care. My commitment to spreading the love for lip care and skincare products and inspiring others to become entrepreneurs in this field. Additionally, my wide range of lip care and skincare products, catering to different age groups, sets me apart as well. I’m most proud of the way I am able to show my daughter, Autumn about entrepreneurship itself. I am excited to see what the future holds for us and our business .

I have gotten to where I am today in my business through my hard work, determination, and passion for skincare and lip care products. My commitment to creating products and my desire to educate others about their benefits have helped me establish a unique position in the industry. By continuously developing my product line, reaching out to my target audience, and staying true to my mission. It was NOT easy lol! I overcame challenges, by simply falling down at times, but also getting back up and trying again. By telling myself I will not give up is what helped me, along with consistency.

I’ve learned that building a successful business takes time and effort. I’ve also learned is the importance of customer feedback and listening to your audience. One more thing that I’ve learned is the significance of adaptability and being able to embrace change!

My brand story is all about empowering my daughter Autumn and sharing the love for beauty and entrepreneurship. I want to inspire others to embrace their dreams, nurture creativity, and build a business that reflects their values. With Glossy By Autumn, LLC, I aim to provide not only exceptional products but also a positive experience for customers, encouraging self-expression and self-confidence.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When it comes to restaurants, I am fine with trying different places to eat. If we are out of town, I would of course want to eat somewhere that neither me or my best friend have ever eaten at, but if I had to pick a spot I would say either a soul food restaurant, or somewhere that is having brunch with mimosas! When it comes to drinks, I am not really picky, but I would definitely check out the popular spots for drinks. I would love to hang out at a lounge, maybe a R&B or hip hop lounge that plays different music with different good vibes!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Honestly, there is not exactly a specific person, but what I can say is that I have a great support system. This support system includes: parents, family, friends, and also co workers. My support system pushes me to become great and do better every step in my business, whenever I am needing business advice I can go to them, when I’m ready to quit after having a breakdown I have those same people rooting me on, and also praying for me as well. We all need support, I couldn’t just base this off of one person. The love, the efforts, and the mentorship all comes from these great people that I am surrounded by.
