We had the good fortune of connecting with An Angel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi An, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
As an Aries, I am naturally going to want to take risks. I accredit it to the fire element in my chart. With that said, I believe taking risks, throughout my life, have helped build my character as a serious artist. Whether the consequences of taking risks have been positive or negative, they’ve taught me the art of patience, determination, and passion for my craft. After all, one cannot expect big changes and experiences while making only small moves.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art stems from my emotions and being inspired to express them within my music. Singing is something I do for stress relief, when I tap into the creative energy within me it’s one of the most exhilarating experiences and beautiful art comes from it.

One of the ways I stand out is my voice. I work to show different dimensions with my voice . I have taken my inspiration from other amazing vocalists and make it my own .

I am really proud of myself because I’ll keep going . Regardless of adversities I will not give up.

I’m really excited to release more music. I have worked with so many wonderful producers and creatives. I’m taking my art to the next level .

I have been able to get through doors that really have changed my career; however, it hasn’t been just one door . Those doors led me to lessons, in return led me to learn more about myself and the career I have chosen. It’s all about self growth and reconstruction. There are many doors you can get into like I have but once you go through the door you have to level up by continuing to take on more responsibility so you can open up that next door prepared .

I want my brand to be genuine. I know there is so much pressure out here for artists to put on a façade; however, I am working on my music and my relationships, so when others look into my brand, they see it comes from a real place of creativity and love.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Atlanta is a city of culture, many people from different places have come to Atlanta to create . It makes the city so interesting, there is always somebody new to meet and somewhere new to go. One of my favorite spots is Ponce City Market and Little 5 Points. You will find artists and some yummy food trucks. If you want to dress up and spend some money the best place in my opinion is the shops at Buckhead.
