Meet Amore Ayala | Designer/Style and Manicurist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amore Ayala and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amore, how do you define success?
I define success by the overall impact made. Success to me is thought provoking, it sparks the question of how and reminds us it’s obtainable. In large or small scales, success has no true size because success looks different for everyone.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love to create, I’m not just a designer I’m really a creative director, you just don’t come for a dress/outfit from me. It’s an overall, look head to toe. I’m super involved in what everything needs to look like. Hair, makeup, shoes, accessories even their nail color. I like to invoke a feeling through my work, every detail is important. I’m the same way with production. What sets me apart? I don’t compromise myself, brand or integrity for clout. I don’t care if you’re the “trending” thing right now. I’m only interested in working with talent not popular people. Getting to that place wasn’t easy so many people do anything and work with anyone. I like exclusivity that money can’t buy. I want people to know you don’t have to sell yourself nor compromise yourself to be seen and successful. You are always enough and doing the work on “you” will only highlight that for everyone else to see. I gave up many times and I got to where I am today by not giving up, by getting up every single time. I kept in mind it only takes one “Yes” and if I could remove myself from feeling bad for myself I could focus on a better outcomes for myself. I’m most excited about where life is taking me and all the new inspiration that will come with it. I’m excited about the world seeing my idea of beauty.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother and brothers, they are what keeps me pushing on the days I feel I can’t.
