We had the good fortune of connecting with Amoire Sweet and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amoire, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I was around 15 I knew I wanted to start my own business because the entire world had shut down . I wanted to do something not many people my age were doing which led me to creating a graphic design business . JustJarieCo was founded March 2021. I knew I wanted to put my creative talents to use and I did just that . Being a successful business woman was always the end goal for me ! But not even only graphic gift baskets , body scrubs , lip glosses and now nails . Always having multiple sources of income and now nails is next on my list !

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most proud of the amount of people I’ve reached and the clients that have came back to me on multiple occasions. Returning clients will forever have my heart . Those clients that don’t ask for a “discount “ and treat me with respect just like anyone else they get a service from . At the age of 9 I’ve gained an interest into digital marketing growing up playing video games . I’ve been on and off creating graphics for 10 years just for fun till it became my passion . Overcoming the challenges of what if someone try’s and gets over on me or what if someone tries to just get free work from me . Creating other things such as scrubs , lip glosses and baskets because I saw my talent in them as well . Over the years my work has went viral several time reaching thousands of people . As well as working with influencers like “wh0.nia, ShalayaDae , and Solai. My honorable mentions whose viewed my work and commented back “De’arra Taylor” when I made a graphic for her business hoping to get her attention I did just that . I want the world to know never let someone tell you settle for one thing . Because out of all the businesses you create you never know which one may make you a 6 figure business .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spot in Atlanta to visit would have to be the Georgia Aquarium. Just being around the scenery even watching the shows they have to offer gives me a peace of mind . It’s definitely a cool place to hang out with friends or even on a date . For food some places I like to eat at would have to be Souldamngood , Nouveau , & The Cheescake Factory . Atlanta has some fun places to offer like Six Flags , White Waters , The Ferris Wheel , Bowling alleys etc .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to take the time to shoutout my meme and my aunt Margie . These 2 woman have played the biggest parts of my life . From a child they could see how I always had various amounts of talents and hobbies and never just told me to stick to one . Anytime I shared with them a business idea they were right in my corner encouraging me to go for it . As well as my close friends Emani and Chyna specifically who’ve always came back to me for my services for years ! They’ve been rocking with me from the start and have seen my growth . My friends have always told me go big or go home. If it wasn’t for my support system i probably wouldn’t be where I am today .
