We had the good fortune of connecting with Amel Rachedi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amel, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?

It was during the pandemic, i wanted to create a platform to allow people to be heard and seen across the world from different countries.

What was really important for me too was showing people you can create your own brand and do things independently and that it is possible no matter how hard it may be! being SELF MADE is possible. You dont have to live by old school society and only work for or under someones brand start your own! just the same way all those established brands have become known how did they do it? by getting up and starting. I am consistent with it and constantly thinking out of the box.

Since starting the show It’s been extremely hard work honestly blood sweat and tears it really has. It has been a life changer and opened so many doors I am so so humbled and grateful i believe Brunch With Amel has been the making of me its my baby.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I am really proud that i came out of the pandemic on a high ill never forget i kept saying keep pushing and pushing itl all be worth it. I really believe now i am started to get rewarded for my hard work i put in.

I want people to know when starting up your going to struggle, have financial hardship the lot, your moods will be up and down but its those who have the dedication to not give up that will get there. Its been so hard for me a lot of highs and lows also a lot of left turns but thats life it wasent meant to be easy! or everybody would be doing it!

Ive learnt Mistakes are part of the process we are all learning every day and im still learning so dont worry if you made mistakes get back up and keep smashing it!

I got knocked down many times and got back up again and for that i have become stronger.

Persistence has been my key

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

I love a good cocktail and a cute place to take some cheeky pics 🙂 for that my favs are

Bagatelle – Popping restaurant

Monak London – beautiful Shisha bar

Amazonico – Hot spot right now

The Box – club for celebrities – this spot is super dope

London is so big im still discovering new places all the time! i love a spontaneous one too

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

Honestly this one has to be dedicated to Sean Paul and his manager Steve Urchin

Steve and Sean Paul believed in me from the beginning of my career before Brunch With Amel was really a thing! before any global artist had come on the show!! and for that alone i have so much love and respect and they will always hold a special place in my career journey for lifey

They seen my talent from the beginning and the energy was there Family
