We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Harvey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amanda, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Being able to stand and have a voice for the Plus-size women
What should our readers know about your business?
I have several businesses that I can speak on. The one I’m most passionate about is my Plus-size boutique. The name of is MY’UNIQUE APPEAL and it’s for all my Plus-size beauties. The thing that set me aside from other boutique is myself. Who I am and what I stand for makes me different and unique. Opening up a online business has been very difficult and frustrating. I try not to worry or think about because I know God has everything in control. One thing I will say is don’t give up on yourself. If I don’t believe in me and work hard for me it want get done. I want everyone to know that MY’UNIQUE APPEAL is here for all women and all body sizes. MY’UNIQUE APPEAL is not only a Plus-size boutique but a place you can get clothes that makes you feel good and look good.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Omg we would have to first start by getting drinks and then we probably would fo a little shopping at Lenox Square. After that we’ll go get food and hang out downtown. We would have to do something fun like do some escape rooms or maybe sip and paint. Go to the art museum and explore all that the city has to offer and finding small gems not everyone knows and depending on the time of year we could go to some festivals that are happening.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First off God without God I wouldn’t be who I am today without God’s help. My mother has been a major factor in my life and helping with getting things done. I also have some very special people in my life that helps me out alot. I couldn’t do anything without the support from my love ones..
