We had the good fortune of connecting with Ama A. Hooks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ama A., do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
I actually have three favorite; quotes are my jam!

1. “Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle” – Abe Lincoln

2. “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” – Vivian Greene

3. “I have decided that I’m not going to let anything that will ultimately mean nothing, keep me from experiencing what ultimately will mean everything” – Chris Hodges                                                                                                                      These quotes have definitely helped me over the past year by providing balance and perspective.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are truly a home-quality small batch baby food company that creates, cooks, and delivers weekly meal plans for your baby. We utilize the same methods you’d use at home; food is cooked through boiling, baking, blending, and steaming, so the original taste and nutrients of the fruit or vegetable is preserved. We also customize the meal plans based on your baby’s familiarity with food and comfortability with solids. Finally, the food is made fresh and delivered frozen within 24 hours of the cooking completion. Some people might think there’s an astronomical price associated with this service, but NOPE! Meal plans range from $30-$80 per week depending on which meal(s) of the day mom or dad wants to supplement.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So, pre-covid, it would go down! LOL!

Friday: High Museum during the day & dinner at American Cut Steakhouse / their rooftop that night.

Saturday: Spa day, authentic korean or vietnamese food off Buford Highway and beltline bars at night – good music and dancing is a must!

Sunday: Virgil’s Gulluh Kitchen for brunch – one of the best brunches in Atlanta!!!
