Hi Alyeshia, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I’ve always been a risk taker. You can’t play it safe because you then limit yourself and the possibilities. Well, that’s my opinion. Being a risk taker allows me to separate myself. Most people rather play it safe. They rather know the outcome but for the vision that I have for myself , I must think outside of the box and most of the time , that requires taking a few risk and so far so good 🙂

What should our readers know about your business?
My name is Alyeshia. I am the owner of Body Galour Beauty Bar where I specialize in Body Contouring services such as Skin Tightening, Cellulite & Fat Reduction and Vacuum Therapy Butt Lift. All of these services are non invasive. I also offer classes.

I got into Body Contouring because I wanted to do something that helped build confidence in women and individuals. Most people are not satisfied with themselves and it shows. In todays times, surgery is the go to for a quick fix. Although, I have nothing against surgery, I wanted to offer another alternative. It might not be an overnight fix but with team work , accountability and patience the job can and will get done.

At Body Galour, it’s not about the money. It’s about the impact. I believe in empowering my clients. They need to understand they can achieve whatever goal and I am here to help because I know it’s not easy. Body Contouring isn’t a one time experience. You will need to change your daily habits.

This journey has not been easy. A lot of people doubted me and my vision; some still do. A lot of sacrifices have been made. You might even lose people along the way. I had no start up money. I didn’t even have a car when I first started. I caught an Uber to my class which was 45 minutes away from my apartment. Almost every dollar went and still goes into Body Galour. Now I have a store front located in Decatur Georgia.When you become a business owner, you have to understand that this is now your baby and it’s up to you to nourish it so it can grow. I’ve learned to keep going no matter what. There are many days I almost quit but before I did I always asked myself “ Have you done absolutely everything?” The answer is always no. We have to hold ourselves accountable as well because our goals don’t care about our feelings.

This is only the beginning for Body Galour and I hope this inspires someone to keep going because your time too is coming

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was in town, I’d first take her to juicy crab because she loves sea food and she’s always hungry. I’d then take her to the belt line so she can get some great pictures with good views and let her check out some of the art work. We would definitely check out some pop up shops so we could support local businesses and network and we would definitely go watch whatever new movie that’s out in Theaters

I dedicate this to any entrepreneur or anyone thinking about starting their own business. You can do it and it’s possible
