We had the good fortune of connecting with Alvin G and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alvin, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I believe risks are vital to take! Amazing feats and stories come from those who took risks! No matter how small or big. There’s always chance of a great reward when risks are successfully taken. Chances make Champions. One time i risked my job by leaving unauthorized to go stake out J. Cole as he prepared to host the ROTD3 sessions! High risk, high reward! Unfortunately, it didn’t go as i dreamed, ironically! You’d think the huncho of Dreamville would give me a shot at my dreams lol, but he sent me home packing. Luckily, i still got to Kee my day job.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What’s sets me apart from others is genuine love, care and interest! I truly want to save humanity and touch every soul that treads the earth. I’m most proud about my ability to convey pure emotion through lyrical composition and make people actually feel my words. Being an adult is hard enough but having a dream on side of that is an even bigger challenge in itself! I’ve learned intentional planning, dedication, patience and to be stay in all i do. LOVE, Learning Others Vices Everyday is my brand, my label and it’s all about love and helping the next person overcome obstacles in any fashion!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Definitely going to the Southside to eat VIP New Orleans Seafood and Big Ed’s Barbecue for starters. Buckhead is interesting at night but I’m jot much of a clubber so i like activities like top golf, axe throwing, studio, and bowling. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My favorite hip hop artists such as Dmx, LiL Wayne, Cole, Sean, Kendrick, Gates and Wale have been great inspiration and motivation. Also, Stephen Darby Ministries have been a great spark in my story as of help. His sermons on YouTube helped me find my identity, in-depth.
