We had the good fortune of connecting with Altimese Nichole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Altimese, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I started my business in 2016, I had no intention of creating a full-time business. My company was intended to be a lucrative side hustle that complements my role in Corporate America. It’s funny how life works; there are the things we think we want and then the hindsight vision to realize there was something unexpected that was so much better.

I was laid off in February 2019, completely unexpected and totally unprepared. Since I had this “side-hustle” that I created years before, I jumped in headfirst out of survival. It led me down a beautiful path of rediscovery and clarity for my life, my career, and my family.

Now, what was once Altimese Nichole Enterprise, LLC is now The Ezer Agency, which employs phenomenal women all around the world, hoping to inspire young girls and women worldwide that they are warriors in life and business. It’s not just a saying. It’s the meaning of Ezer, which is Hebrew, meaning Warrior and HELP, and the reference God used in the creation of Eve.

What I thought was a side hustle became a life assignment.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Ezer Agency is the Agency of HELP. We help business warriors tell their unique stories boldly to impact the market beyond likes and applause. Its foundation is rooted in my own personal experience in Corporate America, from experiencing my first bad manager to having significant mentors with each season that expressed willingness to show me their mistakes so I wouldn’t follow exactly in their footsteps.

Getting here wasn’t in solitude. I have a village of men and women that invested their hearts and time into my growth, and I remained humble enough to listen to them. Now, I do the same with young professionals. I want them to know that success takes a village, and it’s best to learn from the mistakes of others instead of taking those paths alone.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would first take them to Mary Macs for some good, heartfelt food, and we will then make our way to Atlantic Station. The shopping is secondary to the experience of having time with them and walking around the area. Other places would visit are Piedmont Park and parts of the Atlanta Beltline, including Ponce City Market.

The history of Atlanta is rich and so full of life. Some of those stories remain a mystery because the beauty of “now” takes our minds off that once was, but If you know its history, you have such appreciation for its journey.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to recommend Toni Mutcherson. She is a best-selling author, Publisher, and the pioneer that recently published 100 young Black Children in the book, My Young Life Matters.
