We had the good fortune of connecting with Alma Erendira Perez Rafael and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alma Erendira, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite affirmation is “Work hard everyday, follow your dreams, and remain humble.” This affirmation encourages me to provide the best service to my clients which means I have to continuously learn new things and improve my work. I like that this affirmation pushes me beyond my limits and that nothing is impossible with hard work and sacrifice. While, still remaining true to my self.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Nage Beauty Salon, we are actively involved with the community. We love attending events to meet new faces and advertise our services. We also enjoy meeting and supporting other local businesses. We take pride in being a beauty salon that offers a variety of services that specializes in women’s hair, nails, wax, and facials.

I am very proud of where we are at in less than a year, which motivates us to work even harder in order to keep growing.

When I opened Nage Beauty Salon in January, 2022, it was not an easy journey. It had its challenges including how to manage a salon, finding stylists, building clientele, and expanding our reach. We are continuously working to overcome these challenges by promoting and creating content for social media and being involved in the community.

We want our salon to be known for quality service providers, good customer service, and the best salon in town.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of the best places to eat and drink in town is Kairo’s Cafe. The best places to visit in town is the Square in Gainesville, Ga. A fun place to hang out is the bowling alley.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I credit a lot of my success to my parents, my husband Enrique, my daughters Hayley, Marisol, and Sophia, my aunt Elizabeth, and the rest of my extended family who have always supported me and pushed me to follow my dreams.
