Meet Allison Rhine

We had the good fortune of connecting with Allison Rhine and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Allison, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I believe being an independent, confident, intelligent woman who does not take no, for an answer has helped me succeed. Being a cancer survivor helped me have that survival instinct to encourage me to put myself out there and push myself to be successful.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I was eight years old, I was diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma. Doctors told my parents I had a 4% survival right. I beat the odds and survived cancer. I owned a cheerleading Academy for 10 1/2 years with three locations and sold it before moving to Atlanta. When I moved to Atlanta, I decided to my knowledge of being able to help people dealing with cancer, death, and amputation by becoming a life coach. Eight years later, I have one of the most successful businesses. A year ago my son and I decided to start an event company with the concept of giving back to the community while getting people off social media. A few months after that I had to fill-in for a singer at the Veterans Day Association. I sang the Star-Spangled Banner with 15 minutes to spare and a band slid in my DM‘s and asked me to be their lead singer. For the past eight months I have been the lead singer and front woman for Hello My Name Is while continuing to own two businesses
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I definitely would start by taking them down to Ponce market to walk around and see all the shops. Then we would go to dinner over at two urban licks so that we could have a great view of the botanical garden. After that I would find live music somewhere locally to check out because there’s so much talent in Georgia.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents were always being there for me no matter what and encouraging me to be a fighter. My kids for being my biggest cheerleaders
My fourth grade teacher, Miss Garcia Byrd for never giving up on me when I was going through cancer
My sister, for being my best friend and confidant
