We had the good fortune of connecting with Alisha Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alisha, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My supporters. I know this sounds really cheesy but it’s true. Without them I wouldn’t been able too achieve half of the things that i did if i didn’t have the support of them. My followers are like my extended family. They keep me going’ ever single day . I suffer from depression and some days i just want to lie in bed . But i know that i have to keep going because their is someone out their that looks up too me . My supporters are always looking out for me and they are extremely loyal . I owe all my success to them.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a cookie influencer. I created a series on instagram called the weird cookie series back in September and it took off . I created the series because my i wanted to push the limits of baking. Some of the crazy cookies i ever mad was , hot wing, stuffed bubble gum , cheez its , skittles & hot pocket. This series got alot of mixed reviews from people. Some say that i am wasting food , other’s are impressed of my ability to turn anything into a cookie. I really do enjoy this new style of baking because it’s fun & it’s gives people something funny & unique to watch. It’s so funny to hear/read people say that they binge watch the series at night like “ what lol why are you watching me ?” Everyday my inbox is filled with cookie requests. They are like “ can you make a chitterlings cookie “ “ Can you make a pizza cookie “ And im just like “ omg these people are crazy “ but i love it. And they are so excited when i make their requests. I tag each person in the cookie that they requested.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Funny thing is all 4 of my best friends lives or lived in atlanta so they know everything about Atlanta lol . But let’s just say we wanted to have a girls day we would go here

Sabu atlanta( best sushi restaurant ever)
Roswell mill waterpark ( extremely peaceful)
Fin and feathers ( brunch mimosas have me right every time )
The battery Atlanta

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My circle. I have a very close knit group of people in my life who are extremely supportive and they keep me grounded. They have been there from the beginning stages of me learning how to bake and forcing them to be my taste tester lol . I can’t think of any events my friends and family haven’t attended or a flyer they didn’t post. When i first started recording i was extremely shy . I still am but they helped me push threw that barrier, and become more comfortable with the camera and recording.
