We had the good fortune of connecting with Alicia Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alicia, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
As a child colors and blends have always been my go-to for comfort when I became older experiencing new and exciting flavors as they blend, and the smells, and the presentation started to bring out even more excitement. Started working and a juice bar and became more knowledgeable about different fruit and vegetable blends was just a euphoric sensation. People wanted more, wanted different and something more colorful and cheerful to sip on. With this, I had to deliver. I experiment and educate myself on perfect blends and colors.

What should our readers know about your business?
The one thing that sets me apart from some, is that I like to put love into everything I do. I feel that when people view and taste my products they should feel the love in every sip or bite. Honestly, I kept starting and stopping, was scared of failure. I overcame those thoughts because my village wouldn’t let me stop, it was not an option. The most important lesson that I learned was that the only limits in life are the ones we make for ourselves. My brand is made with love, always has, and always will.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is a hard one actually. Even though I lived in Atlanta my whole life, there are so many great restaurants that I’ve never been to. I’m always up for a new food adventure, and choosing one with a friend would create a new and exciting mark in the books. Now if they want to just come over with a few other friends then I’ll start cooking and hosting.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m not sure about that list, it can go on forever. My first would be my son, I pushed myself to be a better person to create a better life for him. My work mom was there for me at my lowest and stayed when I got through. She allowed me to push my creativity. My two best friends, my husband, stepdad, mom, family, and so many others. To be honest I have so many people in my village who all played an important role and deserve so much more than just credit.
