Meet Alicia Hurtt | Holistic Wellness Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alicia Hurtt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alicia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was driven by a deep passion for service, empowerment, and creating impactful solutions for underserved communities. I recognized gaps in support for women, children, and families—particularly in areas of education, holistic well-being, and advocacy. With years of experience in management, mentorship, and program development, I saw an opportunity to build something that not only addressed these challenges but also provided sustainable, transformative change.
I wanted to create a business that aligned with my values of faith, resilience, and community-building, ensuring that individuals had access to resources, guidance, and a supportive network. Entrepreneurship allowed me the flexibility to design programs tailored to real needs while fostering meaningful relationships that drive long-term success.

What should our readers know about your business?
### **About My Business and Journey**
My business, **I See My Baby Inc.**, was founded with a mission to empower women, families, and communities through holistic support, education, and advocacy. What sets us apart is our personalized, culturally inclusive approach that provides resources for women navigating infertility, family well-being, and personal growth. We don’t just offer services—we create a safe space where individuals can heal, learn, and thrive.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the impact we’ve made in breaking stigmas and fostering open conversations around women’s health and family support. Seeing lives transformed through our programs is what drives my passion every day.
My journey in business hasn’t been easy. I faced challenges such as securing funding, building a strong network, and balancing entrepreneurship with personal responsibilities. However, perseverance, faith, and strategic planning helped me overcome these obstacles. I sought mentorship, took part in business development programs like the **Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program** and **BGAP through the Charles County Economic Development Center**, and continuously refined my approach to meet the needs of the communities I serve.
Through this journey, I’ve learned the importance of adaptability, resilience, and surrounding myself with a supportive network. I want the world to know that **I See My Baby Inc.** is more than a business—it’s a movement to uplift, educate, and empower. My brand is built on faith, hope, and the belief that everyone deserves access to resources that help them reach their full potential.
