We had the good fortune of connecting with Ali Moradi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ali, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was working for the big corporation as a General manager. I really loved my job, but the politics involved in operation was not letting me enjoy my job. I got really sick ad tired of the politics and quit my job. since at that time none of the other companies would offer me the same pay as the previous company, I decided to start my own business.

What should our readers know about your business?
Making a decision from quitting my executive position at corporate and opening my own business was the most challenging decision that I have ever made in my career life. I always believed in myself and off course I made some mistakes along the path, but I believe that my persistent and risk taking attitude, led me to where I am today and the rewards I have received as a result of my persistency were achieving my goals one after each other and never repeated my mistakes over again. I want to say this to whoever reads this:
Never give up on your goals, If you feel that you are not achieving your goals, sit back rethink and revise your strategy, I will promise that you will get to your goals for sure.
also be persistent and never underestimate yourself.
believe in you as you are the only one that has the power of helping you on the path to success.
I came to the United states in 2003 not knowing a word in English, It was really a though to get by and during the first two years, I went thru a most challenging stage of my life, I wanted to succeed and decided to work hard everyday, almost 18 hours a day and at the same time going to English class to learn how to communicate and read. I started a new job at the restaurant as a maintenance staff and after 9 months, I was the manager at that restaurant. I believed in me and always wanted to be the best at anything I do.
for me 2003, the year I entered to the US was like I was born again.
looking back at those years, I feel really proud that I have achieved any goals I have set and never forget those initial moments.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love city of Atlanta, I will first take him to downtown Buckhead and downtown Atlanta, As my most favorite place in Atlanta is Piedmont park, I would then take him to walk or bike in Piedmont park, Then we go to eat at my favorite restaurant in Atlanta, Fogo De Chao Brazilian steak house. on the next day, I will take him to see Redtop mountain and the weather is nice, we would rent a boat to go fishing, I will definitely set up for grilling and camping there. next day we would go to World of CocaCola and Atlanta Aquarium.
then we would go to eat at my next favorite restaurant, Sun Dial Bar & restaurant.
and we finish our week by going to Battery Atlanta to show them all the restaurants and bars there.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I can really give credit to a lot of people that helped to get where I am here today, but the most successful person that influenced me a lot was my uncle, Siavash Moradimehr , and my best manager, Hamid Javidan, who were both went above and beyond to show me the right path to my success.
