We had the good fortune of connecting with Ali Elreda and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ali, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson my business has taught me is how to continue to evolve and be open to changes. There âre times where life happens and you need to move with it and know how to reinvent yourself or you will get left behind. I have always prided myself on being humble and staying true to the grind and hustle .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
In addition to serving time in prison for 8 years this is where my passion for the culinary arts arose. I had to learn how to survive because I could not eat the food that was provided due to religious beliefs so I started mixing ingredients hence the creation of the food fusion was made. My mom was a cook and had a restaurant in addition to a meat market so she was instrumental in teaching me how to marinate and learn the flavors of the food. My wife also worked with me and together we created our menu along with owning our own meat market for 10 years. We decided to take a leap of faith and open Fatima’s grill, which is named after my daughter because we started serving tacos and food platters in our meat market and noticed the people were loving our creations. Now years later we have 10 franchise locations and more to come.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d definitely take the m to Fatimas Grill because I’d love to cater to them personally and show them the love they deserve when it comes to Food fusion.. I’m a big sports Fan lol so we are definitely attending a sports Event..

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am a true Believer in God, with Out Him I would not be here today , his blessings and Leadership have Guided me Through this Journey..

My wife, mother and children deserve all the credit. Of course my sister as she is the Franchise Operations Director without her we would not be where we are today. No one can do anything alone so without my family I would be nothing. I also want to thank all my loyal followers, customers, colleagues and of course Mr. Hot Cheetos himself.
