We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexis “Triniity” Fantroy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexis “Triniity”, how do you think about risk?
The masses would see risk as a fear driven action filled with uncertainty. They wouldn’t be wrong. To the eye of the creative, risk is a necessary evil needed to survive in their industry. When I decided to build iNcarnate, I was in a “secure” position in life. A family, steady job with benefits; the typical American setup we dream about. Yet the feeling of discontentment wouldn’t cease from my spirit. Trying to prove my worth in a place where I felt expendable didn’t sit right. I knew what I was capable of and had no one but myself to prove it to. iNcarnate has been a dream of mines since I was 12. How could I tell my son to follow his dreams, if I wasn’t following my own? I took a risk and have been reaping reward ever since. Innovation is born from risk. Discovery begins with risk. History is made by the risk takers. Take the risk.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
iNcarnate is a digital marketing agency and entertainment media group. We are dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs and independent artists with brand expansion and content creation. We believe in creative expression and impact through craft. The name iNcarnate sprouts from the types of clients and associates involved with the company. We work with those who LIVE their craft. Those who are driven by their passion and live through the things they create. Creation brings impact. Whether it’s art or business, you are the creator. We are the creatives who can build it into a solid brand. As a Renaissance woman, I have seen first hand how creating can make infinite impact in the world. Businesses create jobs, solve problems. Art is a medium for expression, bringing all realms of life into conversation. Together, we can make an impact by helping others do the same. Not only are we making a difference through our work, but through social work in the community. We are always welcoming partnerships with organizations making a global imprint. The iNcarnate team and associates work together by volunteering in our communities. iNcarnate will continue to build strong brands and create an impact through craft.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A week long vacation with me would be a riot! Our first stop would be to my favorite Jamaican restaurant, Chef Rob’s Caribbean cafe in Sandy Springs. Afterwards, a driving tour around Downtown (such pretty lights at night). The Atlanta Botanical Gardens is a must-see for newcomers. The works are amazing. For an upscale dining experience, The Garden Room in Buckhead is a culinary experience that comes with a show! To experience nature, camping at Lake Allatoona is a beautiful destination for a relaxing adventure. On the weekend, Little 5 Points is a great place to browse, shop and eat. Pending the time of year, festivals happen here. To end the weekend, Bonfire ATL is the hottest place to be on a Sunday night. Artists from all mediums gather to showcase, network and celebrate life.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am extremely blessed to have a team of family and friends that have supported me throughout my career. First, I’d like to thank my parents who instilled my confidence and encouraged my drive and passion. My wife, with her unwavering love and support through the process. My best friend, Josh aka ESP; thank you for your trust, love and companionship. Though I could name more, I couldn’t ask for a better circle.
