We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexis Nicole White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexis Nicole, what principle do you value most?
A value that is highly important to me is integrity. As a business owner and brand, you must always do what’s in the best interest of clients, even when nobody else is looking. Always tell the truth without compromise. Share what obstacles you’re overcoming and offer a solution to it so that it illustrates to the customer that you’re committed to supporting them and their business needs. Failure to operate with integrity and decency creates distrust for you as a person and brand. Trust is all that you have.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
ANW Consulting is a small business consulting firm that strategically guides organizations through project implementations, such as deployments and continuous improvements. As a result, we collaborate with business owners to identify key objectives, create an achievable plan, and set clear goals to align with the overall strategy.

What excites us most is that we help small businesses remain competitive. We give business owners the ability to have equal access to strategic and tactical project management teams to aid with their implementations. Rather it is an evaluation of their current processes. With valuable feedback or suggestions on how to reduce waste and improve quality by undergoing a significant information technology upgrade, we provide those tools and resources to individuals who may not know where to start.

There are many challenges. I always align with what the client asks or needs within my perspective as a business owner. Nonetheless, I don’t work for free. Therefore the biggest challenge is getting business owners to understand that such support is not cheap, and you cannot get this quality of effort on the cheap route. We are affordable; we will consider your budget. Still, we will not severely discount our services as this is many years of experience guiding our knowledge and understanding of executing. Therefore, a big learning lesson has been not to undervalue my expertise. Don’t feel like you have to oversell your skills and abilities. Those who will buy will; those who don’t will not. Thus, I’ve had to learn how or when do gracefully bow out.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I always love to visit the Buckhead area and frequent the restaurants at Buckhead Atlanta. I would do alllllllll of the tourist like things – west midtown, the parks, the museums, Lake Lanier, we would just go, go, go, go, go and do, do, do, do, do, do, do!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank all the powerful women in leadership who influence change within technology. With information technology being such a male-dominated industry, I know it’s not easy to lead effectively. However, so many women are taking charge and making change happen. Kudos to them.
