Hi Alexis, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The purpose for starting “Lex Nicole Collection” was to have control over my schedule and time. Working for someone else meant constantly being on their clock, and I wanted the freedom to set my own hours and priorities. My mindset has always been focused on creating my own success, rather than making others wealthy. I believe in the value of hard work and determination, knowing that every penny spent and earned contributes to my own journey towards financial independence. By running my own business, I am able to shape my own destiny and pave the way for a more fulfilling and rewarding future.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
“Lex Nicole Collection” was established in May 2021 and can be found at 314 Pine Forest Street, Dublin, GA. We are experts in offering an extensive range of women’s clothing, wigs, shoes, accessories, and plus-size options. Our brand is committed to displaying our passion for fashion, placing great importance on both quality and style. Our collection showcases a wide variety of clothing and accessories, encompassing both fashionable items and timeless essentials. Our goal is to motivate and empower individuals to embrace their distinctiveness and express their personal style through our merchandise.

People always ask how do you run your own business and the answer is simple – just start.. I’ve learned that being a business owner isn’t easy. You have to want it. Stay consistent whether you get one like, no shares, trust people see and people are watching. People get caught up in how fast someone else’s success is going, but you don’t know what it took to get there. It’s crucial to focus on your own journey, stay determined, and keep pushing forward despite any hurdles or setbacks.

Remember, success is not just about the destination, but also about the journey and the growth you experience along the way. Stay true to your goals and aspirations, and remember that persistence and hard work are key to achieving your dreams. I want the world to know that my small business will be a big business. With passion and dedication fueling my every move, I am determined to turn my vision into reality.     Every small step I take is a building block towards a brighter future. Challenges may arise, but I am ready to face them head-on. This journey is just beginning, and I am committed to making it a success. Watch out world, because greatness is on the horizon.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friends and I are in Atlanta for a weekend, our itinerary would be packed with fun activities. We would start by attending a Hawks game to experience the thrill of live basketball. After that, we would head over to Opium or Peter Street for a night of dancing and good vibes. On Saturday, we would indulge in a delicious brunch at Toast On Lenox, savoring the flavors and enjoying the lively atmosphere. To relax and unwind, we would treat ourselves to a spa day, pampering our minds and bodies. Before I leave I have go to 404 Restaurant and Bar for the lamb chops. Our weekend in Atlanta would be a perfect blend of sports, entertainment, good food, and relaxation, creating unforgettable memories with friends.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Through this entrepreneurship journey , I am filled with gratitude as I reflect on the unwavering support and love that have lifted me up along the way. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to my daughter “Alana”, My hometown Dublin, Ga, and also My Family & Friends.

Alana, I want her to know from the bottom of my heart. Every decision I make is with her future in mind. I am aware that my daughter looks up to me, and it motivates me to be the best role model I can be. I strive to set a positive example for her in all that I do. As she grows up, I hope that she will look back and say, “My mommy did that.” It is my greatest wish that she finds inspiration and strength in the choices I make and the path I take, knowing that everything I do, I do for her and her bright future.

Then, I would like to thank everyone in Dublin Ga & All surrounding areas who has supported me over the years. Whether it was a like, share, or word of mouth, you all helped my business grow from being in the trunk of my car to having a storefront. Your support has been invaluable and I am grateful for each and every one of you who has believed in me and my business. It is because of your support that I have been able to achieve my dreams and I will always be thankful for the role you have played in my success.
