We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandria White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexandria, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I always knew I wanted to start my own business, I just didn’t know what I wanted to sell or how I was going to sell it. Over a 10 years span, I saved my money, conjured up many ideas but didn’t commit I until I educated myself in business and something stood out.

I honestly came up with my cheesecake company on accident, I just wanted something sweet to munch on while I was at my bartending gig. I remember eating one and giving a few away, and it’s been up ever since!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m excited to further my knowledge in entrepreneurship, baking, selling my products, and trading services. I had a vision, though it was a blurred vision, I knew that one day my blurry dreams would could true. Was it hard? Sure, but like Frederick Douglass said “If there is no struggle, there is no progress” big shouts to my AP English teacher Mr. Broom from instilling those life long quotes/lessons that I didn’t understand until now!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love me a good dayshift vibe in Atlanta, you can catch me anywhere they sell hookah and good food!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give a major shout to all friends, family, and co-workers who believed in me and supported my hustle!
