Meet Alexandra | Health & Fitness Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandra and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexandra, how do you think about risk?
To be an entrepreneur—especially in the health and fitness space—you have to face risk head-on. There’s no way around it. Risk is part of the job description.
When I left working as a trainer to open my own studio, it was one of the biggest risks I’d ever taken. I was stepping out of the safety of a paycheck and structure into the unknown—betting on myself, my vision, and my ability to lead others. And it paid off—until it didn’t. When COVID hit, like many small businesses, I had to make the gut-wrenching decision to shut my studio down. That loss shook me. But it also shaped me.
I’ve learned that with risk comes failure—or better yet, lessons. Every “setback” gave me new perspective and built resilience I wouldn’t have developed otherwise. I now coach women through transformations, and I often remind them: growth only happens outside the comfort zone. That’s true in the gym, and it’s just as true in life.
There’s a quote I love: “If you’re not willing to risk the unusual, you’ll have to settle for the ordinary.” —Jim Rohn.
And I’ve never been okay with ordinary.
Taking risks is how I got to where I am now—coaching women over 40 to regain their energy, strength, and confidence without restrictive diets or endless cardio. It’s also how I learned to let go of the “move more, eat less” myth and develop an approach rooted in hormone-optimizing nutrition, short-burst strength training, and real lifestyle change.
The highs of entrepreneurship are incredible—but you have to be just as prepared for the valleys. You have to expect them. Because if you keep showing up, keep adapting, and keep learning, those valleys won’t define you. They’ll refine you.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is built for moms 40 and over who are tired of doing everything “right” and still struggling with stubborn belly fat, low energy, joint pain, and just not feeling like themselves anymore.
I help them rebuild their metabolism, regain their strength and confidence, and finally feel good in their bodies again—without restrictive diets, endless cardio, or beating themselves into the ground.
What sets me apart is the approach. I don’t do quick fixes. I teach women how to work with their bodies, not against them. We focus on short-burst resistance training just 1–2x a week, simple nutrition that aligns with their hormones, and lifestyle shifts that actually last. This is a total mind-body transformation—designed specifically for the phase of life they’re in, not some generic fitness plan.
Getting here was anything but easy. Business and entrepreneurship is not for the weak—it’s honestly harder than I ever expected. No one can prepare you for the pressure, the personal growth, or the level of responsibility that comes with building something from scratch. But I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.
Every challenge has taught me something. I’ve learned to look at failure as feedback. I’ve learned to pause, reflect, and keep going—even on the hard days. Especially on the hard days. The mindset I have now? That came from time, wisdom, and a lot of trial and error. I’ve learned to be grateful for every part of the journey—and to celebrate all the wins, big or small.
At the core of everything I do is this belief: When a woman over 40 realizes her best years aren’t behind her, but ahead of her—that’s when everything changes. That’s what I’m here to help unlock.
This is more than fitness. It’s about identity, confidence, energy, and showing up for yourself again. That’s what my brand stands for. And that’s the story I’m still writing—alongside every woman who decides to take her power back.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love to eat good food from other cultures. So first stop would be one of my fav Thai or carribean spots. I also love to be outside especially when the sun is out. Atlanta has lots of festivals going on or we could hit the beltline with some scooter’s and enjoy the weather.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
So many people and resources have shaped my journey—it’s hard to name just one.
I’ve read and listened to over 100 books on fitness, health, mindset, business, and spirituality. That constant learning has been a huge part of who I’ve become, both as a coach and as a human. I believe deeply in investing in yourself. It’s the fastest way to grow—and I’ve lived that. I’ve hired personal trainers, business coaches, marketing coaches, mindset coaches, and even worked with a therapist to keep evolving and make sure I’m showing up as my best self. Because when I grow, I can pour more into others.
I also have to give a special shoutout to my former business partner, Cashe. We ran our studio together for six years—he was literally the yin to my yang. We balanced each other in the best way. That chapter taught me so much about leadership, partnership, and resilience. Even though we’ve gone in different directions business-wise, we still meet up and support each other. That bond turned into family.
Success doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Every book, mentor, conversation, and relationship has played a part in the story. And I’m grateful for all of it.
