We had the good fortune of connecting with Aleasia “Keys” Wallace and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aleasia “Keys”, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Social Worker Turned Realtor

As a Social Worker for over 20 years, I had the desire to continue helping people but in a new way.
In the Social Work field, I have helped individuals and families navigate personal challenges. As I started my own Real Estate Investment journey, My heart for service didn’t go away and I realized I could still support people in a powerful way by helping them achieve stability, ownership, and financial growth through real estate.
Recognizing the overlap in skills,
Social work taught me empathy, active listening, advocacy, and problem-solving…. all of which are essential in real estate. I thought to myself, “I can offer more than just transactional help… I can be a guide, advocate, and calming presence through the home buying or selling process.” This lead to a new desire.
I developed a desire for a new challenge and greater flexibility.
After years in social work, I sought a profession that allowed more independence, creativity, and personal growth…. while still keeping people at the center. Real estate offered the opportunity to build a business on my own terms.
I was able to see the emotional side of housing firsthand. As a social worker, I was able to witness how much housing impacted mental health, family security, and dignity. This deepened my belief that helping someone own a home could be life-changing, so I wanted to be apart of that change from a new angle.
This allowed me to combine passion with purpose. Real estate isn’t just a business move…it is a natural extension of my core mission: to empower, support, and guide people toward better futures. This time, through homeownership.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My Brand Story: Aleasia Keys – Real Estate with Heart & Strategy

Before I was a Realtor, I was a Social Worker…dedicated to helping people through life’s toughest moments. I spent 20 years advocating for families, listening with care, and guiding people through transitions. When I transitioned into real estate, I didn’t leave that behind…I brought it with me.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just help people buy or sell homes…I help them navigate life-changing decisions with empathy, clarity, and a strong sense of purpose. I’m not just a Realtor who writes contracts….I’m a trusted guide who listens, educates, and empowers.

In a field where many focus on numbers and transactions, I focus on people and transformation. I see the story behind every sale…..the family looking for stability, the single parent buying their first home, the retiree seeking peace. I bring a heart-centered approach to a business that can feel cold and intimidating.

Overcoming Challenges

Breaking into real estate wasn’t easy. It meant learning an entirely new industry, facing rejection, building a brand from scratch, and stepping into a world where connections and visibility matter. But I didn’t give up. I leaned on my strengths—resilience, compassion, and service—and turned challenges into stepping stones.

I surrounded myself with mentors, including my broker Nedra Hayes, became a part of Kinley Realty Co. I stayed grounded with support from my husband Clarence Wallace and family and friends. My 13 year old son even celebrates me when accomplishing goals….WIN WIN as this encourages him also. Each step forward was a mix of faith, strategy, and authenticity.

My Promise

As your Realtor, I offer more than expertise….I offer dedicated partnership. I’ll walk with you through the journey, celebrate your wins, and make sure you never feel alone in the process. Whether you’re buying your first home or selling your fifth, you’ll feel heard, prepared, and confident every step of the way.

Because this isn’t just real estate……it’s about helping you find ownership, peace of mind, and a place to belong.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
“If my best friend came to town, I’d plan a mix of Southern flavor, soulful vibes, and fun memories!”

Morning:
We’d start with brunch at Atlanta Breakfast Club. Gotta have those chicken and waffles or shrimp and grits. Coffee and catching up are a must.

Afternoon:
We’d head to Ponce City Market or BeltLine for some shopping, art, and people-watching. Maybe rent one of those driverless Ubers for the experience. Then cool off with some King of Pops or grab a light snack at Krog Street Market.

Evening:
For dinner, I’d take them to Old Lady Gang or Slutty Vegan, you know…. something flavorful and uniquely Atlanta. Then maybe head to a rooftop like SkyLounge or 9 Mile Station for drinks and views.

Night:
To end the night, we’d find live music at Apache XLR or catch a local jazz set or R&B band — because nothing beats good music and a chill vibe with your best friend.

Optional Sunday:
If it’s the weekend, we’re hitting up Sunday vibes at a day party, or even a gospel brunch….depending on the mood!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to take a moment to give a heartfelt shoutout to everyone who’ has supported me on this real estate journey. To my amazing clients…THANK YOU for trusting me to guide you through one of the biggest decisions of your life. To my broker/mentor, Nedra Hayes, your leadership and encouragement have been invaluable. To my hubby, Clarence Wallace, THANK YOU for being my rock and biggest cheerleader. And to my friends at Bottled Treasures in McDonough, Georgia….your love, inspiration, and sisterhood have meant the world. I couldn’t have done this without you!
