We had the good fortune of connecting with ALANZO PHILLIPS and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi ALANZO, what role has risk played in your life or career?
What I think about risk is always taking risks no matter if I fail at a job/task or not. You’ll never know if you will accomplish something if you don’t take the risk at it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m an educator who works in a charter school supporting students in their education endeavors. I got to the field of education based on my bachelor’s degree in Communications plus it was very challenging because working in a school formation is challenging especially when you have to make sure the daily functions for the school is being run smoothly. I learned how to be patient especially myself having a military background and the military also taught how to pay attention to detail. I want the world to know that I’m a two time sarcoma cancer survivor plus a military veteran who’s pursing the career of acting.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to first thank God for always giving me the opportunity to live my journey the best way I need to especially for my wife and son, family and etc. I want to also thank Mikey Jay (Michael Steven-Paul for being a big brother/mentor for always pushing me to be great plus I also want to thank my mom for always having my back no matter if we have disagreements or not.
