Hi Ajiah, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Before Starting my own business, I worked for a few other boutiques. As time went on I started to enjoy it. One day I decided this was what I wanted to do with my life. I immediately started planning & preparing at that point & never looked back .

What should our readers know about your business?
Glo by Janae Boutique was created from a love of me wanting to make women feel good. I understand how important it is to feel good about yourself. If I can provide that to women in some way, I’m living my purpose. Owning a boutique is deeper than just selling clothes for me.

Business wise, I’ve made it this far because I’ve stayed true to the vision I had for Glo since the beginning. It’s not always easy. I still get discouraged, but I’ve learned when I get discouraged or anxiety to step back & regroup. Running a business you can’t function without a clear mind.


The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God 1st! I’m constantly praying through everything. Then of course close friends & family! The support from them is amazing ! From promoting to sharing words of encouragement , I appreciate them from the bottom of my heart, they keep me going!
