Meet Ahmarhi Hubbard | CEO/Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ahmarhi Hubbard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ahmarhi, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
With IdolLink, I’m focused on building a safe and positive platform that connects fans and idols all over the world. Entertainment is powerful, but I want it to do more than just entertain, I want it to unite people, break down language and cultural barriers, and create a space where everyone feels included. My goal is to make IdolLink a place that inspires encouragement, joy, and real connection worldwide.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
IdolLink is more than an app, it’s a movement. What sets us apart is that we’re not just building another fan platform, we’re creating a global community where idols and fans can connect in a way that’s safe, uplifting, and authentic. My vision is for IdolLink to stand alongside giants like SM Entertainment and HYBE one day, but with a focus that’s different, protecting idols, especially female idols, making sure their careers are long, comfortable, and filled with joy. I want them to have fun, be themselves, and feel supported, not just managed.
For fans, IdolLink is for everyone, everywhere. No matter where you’re from, you’ll have access to idols across Asia from K-pop to Thai GL and beyond, all in one place. It wasn’t easy to get here, and I’ve faced setbacks, but every challenge has made the vision clearer and the mission stronger.
What I want the world to know is this: IdolLink isn’t just about fandom, it’s about rewriting what it means to be an idol and a fan. We’re building something that can inspire, connect, and protect and I believe the future of global entertainment belongs to platforms like this.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to Atlanta for a week, I’d keep it simple but fun. We’d spend a lot of time at Piedmont Park just hanging out, walking around, and enjoying the atmosphere. I’d take them downtown to see the city, feel the energy, and just vibe in the heart of Atlanta. For food, we’d definitely hit up Copeland’s, that’s a must. I’d mix in a few local spots, maybe grab drinks and good eats around the city, and just keep the whole week about enjoying Atlanta’s culture, food, and people. For me, it’s less about doing a million tourist things and more about showing them the spots where I actually like to spend time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely wouldn’t be where I am without my family. My dad Brandon Williams, my mom April Williams, and my grandmother Sharon Williams have always been in my corner, giving me the kind of support that keeps me going. I also want to give credit to the K-Startup program, even though I didn’t make it past the second round, the experience pushed me to keep building IdolLink stronger and reminded me that setbacks are just part of the journey. And of course, I have to thank the early fandom community that believed in me from the very beginning, their encouragement showed me that what I’m building really matters and has the power to connect people.
