We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrienne Mayfield and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adrienne, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I want people to remember me as someone who lived boldly and outloud. I desire for people to know me as a pioneer and trailblazer who did not compromise and used her life to represent Jesus and show the world that relevance does not have to exist exclusive of a strong and powerful relationship with God.

I want to build a legacy of strong, discerning individuals who contribute to their homes, community and society in a way that makes a remarkable difference.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a personal injury attorney, speaker, and author. My tagline is ‘your relatable lawyer” because I distinguish myself by my personable relationship with my clients. In a world full of lawyers, I stand out by making my clients feel heard and valued as I tirelessly advocate for their cause.

As a speaker, I seek to inspire, challenge, and encourage my audience. I write about subjects that matter to the growth and development of women who are heading into the second half of life. I serve as midwife–pushing them to achieve their goals, and as they crush them, I encourage them to set new ones.

As an author, I push my readers to stretch their minds, goals, and worldview. It is important to recognize that we are parts of a whole. We have an obligation to leave our mark and impact on the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take anyone visiting Atlanta to visit the Aquarium. It is a beautiful place and although I am not a huge fan of putting animals in captivity, the animals beauty is something to behold. I would also take a walk around Truist Park. It is a bustling area of restaurants and hot spots. I would also take a walk around Grant Park and end with dinner and ice cream at Halcyon in Alpharetta.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my parents and grandparents. They all paved the way for me to persevere and created a desire for me to serve my community. Their selfless examples have made me the pioneer I am today.
