We had the good fortune of connecting with Adriane George and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adriane, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite affirmation is always remembering to keep God first. I put and keep God first in every aspect of my day to day life. God is the reason why I’m in the position I am today and without I am nothing.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a baker but I consider myself an artist. My personality and customer service is what sets me apart from others. I’ve never been one to follow trends, I think of myself as the trendsetter. Being my unique self is another factor that makes me stand out. It took hard work and dedication to get to where I’m at now. It wasn’t easy and it still isn’t easy. Growing a business is all about consistency, you have to keep pushing and keep going in order to be successful in any business.
I ran into many challenges and still run into them to this day. I overcome them by faces them head on when they arise.
I’ve learned so many lessons a long the way but the most important lesson I’ve learned was to never give up. It’s okay to stumble and fall but it’s never okay to stay there.
I want the world to know that I am just like them. I make mistakes just like everyone else. I want the world to know that I’ll never be perfect in my craft but I will always make progress in it. My story on the other hand is just like most of you. I came from the struggle but my gift was my way out.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Before we start our weekend it’s a must that we get fly. First we will visit the best natural hairstylist in town StylesbyJojo. My girl get me right everytime. Next stop will definitely be Spa Nails to get our nails done by the best of the best Dede Cooper the owner of It’s Beyond Nails. Once that’s done we will head over to Head Over Heels to cop the lastest and hottest fashion from my girl TayTay. Saturday morning we will hit downtown and shop with all the local shops and it’s a must that we stop by Cornerstone Coffee + Co to get our pick me up. They have some of the best coffee around. For lunch we will stop by Tropical Taste, they have some of the best Caribbean for ever.
Sunday morning is the day we give praise and I’m glad I have friends that don’t mind giving God some of their time. That morning we will head on over to Cuthbert, Ga to worship with my Empowerment Temple family lead by the one and only Apostle Turkesia Rushin. Get there, service starts at 11! You wouldn’t want to miss it. We would end our day relaxing by the river at Turtle Park. We will have the perfect weekend.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The person that I would like to recognize for all his love and support is my husband Quan. When I wanted to give up he pushed me to keep going. He recognized my gifts and talents even before I did. He is the man with the plan and works continuously behind the scenes to help grow my business.He is my number one supporter and my biggest fan and for that I’m forever thankful for him.
