We had the good fortune of connecting with Adriana Zamudio and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adriana, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks can be fearful. But when it’s for a career you want to build, every step is worth it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a hairstylist in the Marietta/Atlanta area. I truly love what I do. I love to make other women feel happy and confident with themselves. Not only am I their hairstylist, but they have someone to talk to when they can’t open up to anyone else. It’s an amazing feeling knowing my clients feel the comfort opening up with me. It definitely wasn’t easy getting to where I’m at today. But when there is a career you want, taking risks to get you there are worth it. I want people to know that when you want to build your own brand, your own business you have to put in work, push towards your goals, make things happen, make mistakes, fix them, learn from them, experience. Things aren’t just given to you but when hard work comes in play amazing things come your way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
With me there is always a brunch date involved lol. Brunch & Mimosas are my go to. I love food so taking my friend to a variety of restaurants is a must. Those that know me well will tell you I’m obsessed with Juicy Crab lol. So I wouldn’t let my best friend leave without experiencing my favorite place. I love music and dancing so I love to go to Loca Luna and Eclipse de Luna. They have delicious tapas, good drinks, a good mix of music. It’s definitely a good chill place to enjoy food and some dancing. I love museums, parks, art, anything touristy so I would take my best friend to experience those as well.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom because no matter what she’s always been there for me. She’s been supportive every step of the way. My stepdad because he pushed me to believe I will grow in my business and told me to not give up. My daughter because all I do is for her, for us. She pushes me to work hard, set goals & reach them. I want to be the best role model for her.
