We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrian “Alex” Alexander and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adrian “Alex”, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My love for music and the arts. I think music saved my life in so many ways and to be able to provide artists with a place to create is a joy. Of course nothing good comes without sacrifice and hard work. It’s extremely hard to be a small business owners, especially a studio owner in the city of Atlanta but I remember the reason I started this in the first place.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Out Your League ENT is a true One Stop Shop business where we’ve focused on providing all the services an entertainer may need under one roof. We offer audio recording, mixing, mastering, film production, internet radio, DJ services, event space, artist development and artist management. It’s sad to say but we’re proud to be a honest hardworking team. With so many people out there who are ripping artists off, we stay true to our principles and morals. I would say that’s how we got to where we are today and what will propel us into greatness. Owning and operating this business isn’t easy at all, there are some very challenging times but you can’t give up. When those moments arrive, the team really comes together and lift each other up to push through the challenging moments. There are so many lessons I’ve learned along they way, I would need your entire magazine to write down all the lessons but the most important lesson I’ve learned is to remain humble. When people give up, or quit on you, remain humble, stay focused, regroup and re-attack. I want the world to know that Out Your League ENT is a rising powerhouse that’s built on honesty and dedication to our goals. Our story will be one for the story books but we’re still writing it as we continue this journey.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my best friend visit the area, we like to enjoy somewhere relaxing and low key. We spend so much time living a fast pace life that when we get a moment to slow down, we like to enjoy a good meal. We like to try different places, so I can’t pinpoint one particular place, so we just go with what we’re feeling at the moment. Atlanta is full of interesting places, it’s one of those places where you can go around the world in one city and that’s what I love about my hometown.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
TBH the credit goes to the team of Out Your League ENT. Over the years we have experienced some hard times and some very good times but they stay loyal. I would like to recognize them, they’re the reason why we can still stand tall today. Loyalty in this industry is a dying quality, to still have people around that’s willing to fight through the hard times is hard to come by. So my shout out goes to the entire Out Your League ENT staff and the people that support us.
