Meet Adesola Badon | President & CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Adesola Badon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adesola, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and tremendous ambition. Although I’m the consummate team player, I’ve never been content with being at any level beneath anyone and am just a leader at heart. I had a precise plan of action from day one that I entered into real estate, and that plan incorporated owning my own business – so here we are.
What should our readers know about your business?
I think our opening statement says it best,
Badon Commercial Real Estate was established in 2014 to set a new standard in the world of Commercial Real Estate. We provide a meaningful experience throughout all interactions by delivering an unprecedented, elevated level of service, to every client-every time. We are here to do what our clients want most; increase the value of their commercial investment whether in property management, acquiring, or trading real estate assets.
What sets us apart from our peers in the industry is that we are “Future-Forward” thinkers and doers. This firm is set up to be on the cutting edge of technology in our industry both physically and more importantly from a human capital perspective. The latter is what sets us apart, our people. The way our brokers are trained and operate in the field is second to none. I believe this is what I am most proud of about our company. We give grade “A”, first-class service offerings to our clients and put them in the optimal position to win when it comes to their real estate assets.
We got to where we are today with perseverance, exceptional guidance, and perfecting the ability to deliver services to our clients that are truly valuable to them. It certainly wasn’t easy, but the challenges along the way helped us gain valuable experience, made us infinitely stronger, and positioned us where we are today #WINNING for our clients.
We’ve learned a lot of lessons along the way. I believe the most important has been that if you love Atlanta, it will love you back. The city has so much to offer from its historical makeup, technological prowess, and entrepreneurial opportunity for any focused professional. If you just absorb the city and love it for what it is, it will give back to you tenfold.
The world should know that Badon Commercial Real Estate has always been here, but now you can see us. We were that little blip on the radar a few years back that people said hmmm what’s that all about? Now we are the humble lions they gaze at in awe of what we have accomplished. Our brand is here to stay, and we look forward to our continued growth here in the great city of Atlanta and around the nation.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Atlanta and I wanted to show them the “best time ever” I would have the perfect lineup of food, fun, rest, and repeat! We would start our day at Alpharetta’s finest coffee and breakfast spot, Sulit Coffee & Wine. We’d have one of their iconic smoked salmon flatbreads and hot vanilla lattes. We’d head over to the Avalon, shop a little, and mingle with the locals. Then we’d skip over to Marietta and go to Cajun Meat Market. It is mandatory to grab no less than a box full of every delectable New Orleans Cajun-style cuisine we set our eyes on. We would make sure to save time to prepare our fine eating for our grand finale event later (more to come about this). The next stop would be The Trap Music Museum, because why not? I mean, can you come to Atlanta and not stop at this iconic location? We would then head back to the EV Hotel and freshen up for the big event that would cap off the evening. The pinnacle of the evening would be heading down to the gulch to cook our New Orleans delectables (crawfish, crabs, etouffee, gumbo, etc.) at our tailgate before the Saints played the Falcons in the Mercedes Benz Stadium. I’m not going to speak on the game itself or how it may end, but I will say that Sadly All Issues Noticeably Take Shape when this game is happening in town. #Visitors, Who is that? (that’s the proper English version) Do you see what we did there?
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my family, coaches, mentors, and those who unknowingly pushed me through actions that they have no idea moved the needle immensely. First, my supportive family, my very strong parents, my beautiful wife, and my amazing children. I’ve had so many coaches, mentors, and others along the way that have helped shape me. Some of the most memorable are the entire Metairie Park Country Day School staff & coaches, my Mississippi State University staff & coaches, and a lot of my peers that I sit across the table from in my current industry. I appreciate all of these people and many more immensely. Just know I could fill up an entire page with “Shoutouts” to those that have offered a brick to the foundation you see before you today.
