We had the good fortune of connecting with Adam Income and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adam, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Around 2008, I was hanging with the Twins from Jagged Edge A LOT they would have hoop sessions at their crib every weekend and cookouts etc and I was a big promoter in Atlanta at the time, so one day I got a call from a guy that knew I knew them and asked could I get them for a show.. So of course I ran it by the manager and she said hey are they paying your commission? I was like ummm idk so I asked and the answer was yes. Realizing I had all of these personal relationships with multiple artists I said well why don’t I get paid to book shows and make my friends money in the process. The rest is history. Adam Income Agency was born.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Adam Income is a person, a brand; a lifestyle. The only difference between myself and other “agents” or agencies is that I am actually tapped in with the PEOPLE. I don’t sit behind a desk with several layers of calls, emails, assistants; etc. when you do business with me you get personal dedicated service and you get a quick direct response whether it’s from the artist side or the buyer. And I also %100 guarantee my transactions.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d first like to shoutout Dex and Demo who began my promo journey with me 19 years ago (who subsequently quit on me) but that’s another story lol and secondly I’d like to shoutout the CUTBOYZ (Doh Boy, Slim, Billy, Greg, Angelo, Antonio, Car’Ron, Derrick, Chizzzy, John John Da Don, Vino, Var, Silly Chris and heavenly Lil Brandon for being there with me and for me at the beginning of me building this empire. Lastly I’d like to thank my wife and my mama. My wife for being patient and understanding. My mama for being supportive and accepting of all the decisions I’ve ever made out of pure love and trust.
