Meet According 2 The Streets | Podcast and Blog Page

We had the good fortune of connecting with According 2 The Streets and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi According 2 The Streets, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
According 2 The Streets resonates because it speaks directly to a specific community and culture — not just about one topic like relationships, or business but about everything that goes on in the streets, about the things we are facing everyday. It tells real stories, often rooted in street culture, music, and real life experiences, which in turn, creates a strong emotional connection with its audience. #A2TS is a podcast which is going to give you something you can think about after watching one of our episodes.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
According 2 The Streets is a fresh and invigorating podcast that brings real, raw, and unfiltered conversations straight from the culture and the streets. We dive into what’s really going on — not just the headlines, but the heart of the people, the movements, and the mindset behind today’s biggest cultural shifts.
What sets us apart is our authenticity. We’re not chasing trends — we’re speaking truth, giving voice to the unheard, and keeping it all the way real. We’re most proud of building a platform that resonates with everyday people, while still pushing deep, thought-provoking conversations.
The journey hasn’t been easy. Like most people coming up in the game, we faced doubts, lack of resources, and closed doors. But passion and persistence carried us. We stayed consistent, adapted, and most importantly — we listened to our community.
The biggest lesson? Stay true to your vision, even when it’s hard. The streets will tell you when you’re on the right path.
We want the world to know that According 2 The Streets is more than a podcast — it’s a movement. It’s culture, it’s community, and it’s a voice that refuses to be silenced.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was coming to Atlanta for a week, I’d make sure they got the real ATL experience — a mix of culture, soul food, history, and straight-up good vibes. Here’s how we’d run it:
Day 1 – Welcome to the A!
Start off in the Old Fourth Ward with brunch at Highland Bakery — shrimp & grits is a must. Then hit up the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Park to soak in some powerful history. Evening drinks and rooftop views at Ponce City Market’s Skyline Park, then maybe end the night vibin’ at MJQ Concourse for that underground dance scene.
Day 2 – Culture + Kicks
Slide through the Trap Music Museum — it’s a dope visual of how trap music shaped the culture. Grab lunch at Slutty Vegan (because no ATL trip is complete without it). If they’re into sneakers or streetwear, Wish ATL in Little Five Points is a must. Chill dinner at Two Urban Licks with live music and fire cocktails.
Day 3 – BeltLine & Artsy Energy
Walk or rent bikes along the Atlanta BeltLine, peep the murals, and hit up Krog Street Market for a bite. Pop into Atlanta Contemporary Art Center or head to SCAD FASH if they’re into fashion. Dinner at Busy Bee Café for classic soul food. Nightcap at Jojo’s Beloved Cocktail Lounge — retro vibes and creative drinks.
Day 4 – Nature Meets the City
Day trip to Stone Mountain Park or kayak the Chattahoochee River for a change of pace. Come back and do dinner at South City Kitchen in Midtown — upscale southern classics. Chill night with live jazz at St. James Live! or comedy at Uptown Comedy Corner.
Day 5 – Black Excellence & Shopping
Check out The AUC (Morehouse, Spelman, Clark Atlanta) and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Swing by Atlantic Station or Lenox Mall for some shopping. Hit The Garden Room for dinner — the aesthetic is unmatched. Then if we’re turning up, Compound or Revel is where it’s at.
Day 6 – Day of Indulgence
Brunch at The Breakfast Club ATL, followed by a spa day at Jeju Sauna (trust me, it’s a whole experience). Chill evening at Piedmont Park with a picnic or food truck eats. Sunset drinks at 9 Mile Station.
Day 7 – Sunday Funday Finale
Wrap the week with a soulful brunch at The Real Milk & Honey. Church vibes or a gospel brunch if they’re into it. Then maybe just cruise through neighborhoods like Cascade or East Atlanta Village for the local feel. A final stop at Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks before they hit the road or airport.
Atlanta is filled with its own flavor, style, and energy. The people are bold, creative, and always hustling. That’s what makes it special. The city’s got a beat of its own, and once you feel it, you’ll always want to come back.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to give recognition to the streets of course! The people are the reason we even have the ability to keep this process going. They are the ones who send us what we need to keep everyone up to date on whats going on in the world. We tap in on whats currently going on and how we can get the opinions of the people. The people are the ones who keep us on our beat, the ones who let us know what we should report. “According 2 The Streets” is just that, current news and stories all according to the streets.
