Hi Abigail, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
I believe that it is time to give up when something no longer makes you happy or it has served its purpose. Entrepreneurship has its ups and downs there will be days where you feel on top of the world and there will be days where you want to throw in the towel. Whenever you have to ponder if you should give up or keep going… Ask yourself “Does this aligns with my passion and purpose?” If the answer is yes then keep going if the answer is no then give up and try something new.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the owner of Love They Rootz and I create natural hair products using ingredients from nature. My products are toxin-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free, and made in small batches. What sets Love Thy Rootz apart from other companies is that we strive to be a self-care + lifestyle brand for natural hair. We aren’t just a product. We are a brand that helps women who might not like their hair or hate their hair — learn to love their hair by giving them the right tools and products to take care of it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

My friends, family and significant other deserve all the credit. I just want to say thank you to each individual that has pushed me to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams. I receive constant motivation to keep going from those in my circle. I am super lucky to have such a great support system.
