Hi Abdul, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
Isaac Newton once stated, “If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants.” I find this quote both humbling and inspiring for the fact that it pays homage to those who have put in the work and sacrifices before us to allow us the opportunities to do what we can do today, all while challenging us to do the same for those that come after us. This human experience we share is a byproduct of our collective experiences and work. Everyone’s contribution was necessary to get us to this point and will continue to be needed as we strive further. Personally, this quote serves a constant reminder that what I do and hope to accomplish is bigger than just myself. Especially, at times we are so focused on the tasks at hand we can fall susceptible to losing track of the greater, overarching picture.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Innov8 Technologies Inc. is a growing Virtual and Augmented Reality Media Production and Marketing Company that is setting higher standards of innovation in the industry. It is a unique, black-founded disruptive tech start-up that has established itself as a go-to firm when it comes to creating, marketing, distributing, and monetizing immersive and engaging digital content, along with providing smart marketing solutions that push the boundaries of interaction.

Innov8 Technologies is dedicated to leveraging the potential of technology, specifically, Virtual Reality to offer value-added digital solutions to its clients. The company was founded by Abdul Gieballa, who is also serving as the CEO of Innov8 Technologies. The management at Innov8 Technologies also aims to help content creators get themselves acquainted with new platforms to give their audiences more affordable, accessible, and immersive content to enjoy. Most notably, Innov8 Technologies’ founder and CEO, Mr. Abdul Gieballa spoke at the Reality x Design Conference organized by the Harvard Graduate School of Design to share his entrepreneurial journey and his company’s work.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta is a vibrant city with a lot to do. Personally , I would curate a week of experiences revolving around: attending sporting events, exploring good eats in the city, retail shopping at local streetwear vendors and partaking in the never ending nightlife scene that Atlanta has to offer. My friend and I would take in a Hawks, Falcons and Braves game to feed the sport fanatic within us. We’d eat at local small businesses like The Loaded Potato and at high end restaurants like Eight Sushi Lounge and everything in-between. One has to look fresh when in Atlanta so visits to Wish ATL, Fly Kix and Versus ATL are a must. When the sun goes down that’s when the day truly starts. Can’t go wrong with partying the night away at The Dome or doing something a bit more low-key like Bonfire ATL.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It truly takes a village to make anything remotely successful. I am beyond grateful, humbled and forever indebted to many people but I’d like. to highlight. a special few or else this section will quickly turn into something like the end credits of a featured film.
