We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Jefferson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aaron, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting A&V Design Group stemmed from a deep passion for creating impactful designs that enhance aesthetics and daily experiences for clients. This endeavor provided the opportunity to have flexibility over my schedule while focusing on the ability to design and create, bringing ideas to life in unique and meaningful ways.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
A&V’s journey began with a vision of connecting with our community through design. We are thrilled about the upcoming chapter where design meets art to craft distinctive, cutting-edge pieces. Building a company from scratch based on this vision wasn’t easy; it required immense hard work, determination, and resilience. My professional journey has been a testament to the power of perseverance and the willingness to pivot and adapt to achieve desired outcomes.
Through challenges, I’ve learned the importance of embracing change and betting on oneself. Our brand is committed to long-term success, aiming to be the go-to solution for custom needs in both residential and commercial spaces. We pride ourselves on strong client relationships, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional craftsmanship, setting us apart in the industry. We’re excited to continue growing and making a lasting impact with our unique approach to design and art.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For a week-long trip in Atlanta, I’d take my best friend to:
Delbar for delicious Persian cuisine and a unique dining experience.
Palo Santano for rooftop cocktails with a stunning view.
Kitty Dare for a cozy atmosphere and great drinks.
A leisurely walk on the Atlanta BeltLine for outdoor fun and exploration.
Enjoy a Southern tasting menu created by James Beard nominated Chef Joey Ward at Georgia Boy.
Authentic Ethiopian cuisine at Desta for a flavorful dining experience.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to my parents Margo and William Jefferson for being an incredible source of inspiration and guidance in my life. Their unwavering dedication to hard work has set a profound example for me, shaping my work ethic and determination. I owe a significant part of who I am today to their influence and teachings. They truly deserve all the credit and recognition in my story.
