We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Fletcher and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aaron, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
“All things in time”. I think this quote sums up my approach to any goal or desire in life. Its a reminder to not force or rush things along, and that all things worth doing, having or accomplishing take time to materialize. I keep this mindset in everything I do.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a practicing surgeon in the specialties of Ear, Nose and Throat, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. I blend the scientific and the artistic in my work, and I get to address a wide range of problems for a wide range of clients. My core specialty is Ear, Nose and Throat, where I deal with problems such as hearing loss, infections of the sinuses, allergies, voice and vocal cord issues etc. I also pursued additional training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, where I provide surgical and non-surgical services to address issues of facial appearance such as Rhinoplasty, Facial Aging, Facial Reconstruction after trauma or cancer, Facelifts, Eye lifts etc. I opened my own practice in 2016 and have been employing and serving the community since then. It wasn’t an easy road for me, but it was the only road for me. I’m proud of what I have built, and I strive to surround myself with a staff of thoughtful and caring individuals, which has been one of the greatest aspects of running a medical practice.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love live sports. Atlanta is great because it has all of the major sports attractions of any city. I would definitely start with a Falcons or Hawks game.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The late great Dean Thomas Blocker of Morehouse College. He was a mentor and guide to so many looking to enter the allied health professions. He gave me the confidence and resources to pursue my calling of becoming a surgeon. I wouldn’t have become a doctor without this man’s help. He passed away during my first year of medical school, and I never got to say “Thank You”. So this shout out belongs to him. He deserves recognition.
