We had the good fortune of connecting with 25th Avenue and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi 25th Avenue, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
The most impactful lesson we have learned from starting 25th Avenue is that no one is required to support your dream, even those closest to you. Most of our customers are people we barely even know.We are thankful for all of our customers. At the end of the day, no one has to support your dream. This was a hard pill to swallow but we are glad we learned early in the game.
What should our readers know about your business?
25TH Avenue was created in mind of the everyday women. We strive to create pieces that you can wear on a daily basis and one that you can feel confident in, no matter your size. Starting a business is NEVER easy. Its all trial and error. 3 years into our business and we are still learning new things. Has it been easy? Absolutely not. From starting a family to the impact of COVID, 25th Avenue has had its share of challenges. By God’s grace, we have been able to overcome. The biggest lesson we have learned is the importance of moving forward.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would start out at Fins & Feathers for brunch. Botanical Gardens scenery is absolutely beautiful and is a must. We would end the day with some shopping, movies and dinner at Atlanta Station.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
