We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have read and still read a lot of books about entrepreneurship, millionaires, and people that are financially free. My goal in starting my business is to create income for myself, leave a legacy for my children, and become financially self-sufficient. Starting my own business is my start to building generational wealth – something that we, in the black community, don’t often have unfortunately.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is multi-faceted, just like the owner. I offer graphic design services including logos, websites, flyers, and anything that needs to be graphically designed. I have an e-commerce brand which represents ideas, thoughts, and unique designs that wouldn’t be found elsewhere. Lastly, I offer e-commerce consulting services that come from years of experience building a brand, designing merchandise, and reaching your full potential for your online business. I am most proud of the agility within my business – I’m not just a one-stop-shop, I can adapt to the current landscape’s needs for services. For example, years ago when Snapchat was more popular, I created personalized Snapchat filters for almost 100 people in a 4 month span. I’m also proud of our ability to offer competitive prices and quick turnarounds. I got where I am today because of my consistency, work ethic, and perseverance. It wasn’t easy, but nothing that’s worth having is going to come easy! I’ve learned that the business won’t work unless you work for the business – in other words, you can’t expect business to naturally find you, you have to create opportunities for yourself.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d give my best friend a list of things to do and tell them to do them as they please! Atlanta doesn’t have a specific end time, so you can almost enjoy anything at any time. A list of spots are: Piedmont Park, Edgewood Avenue in Atlanta for parties, Lenox Mall/Phipps Plaza for shopping, and ending it at West Midtown for another bar crawl that has games and other food options.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate my shoutout to my amazing Wife; we’ve been together for almost 10 years and she’s been supporting me, giving me feedback, and encouraging growth this entire time. Having a partner that “sees your vision” and watches that same vision come to fruition is a magical experience; it also makes life a little bit easier when you have someone that understands the idiosyncrasies of what it takes to mentally weigh running a business among other things.
