We had the good fortune of connecting with Joe Stuckey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joe, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
Always leave people and places better than you found them. It’s our duty as a people to not only improve and grow but, help others do the same. I love that this speaks to each and every one of us being able to effect change in our world. It can be as simple as sharing a kind word, smiling when you enter a room (it puts people at ease) or helping build those around you . If we each focus on small ways we can give and Love, can you imagine the greatness we can spread?

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a brand, we offer T-Shirts, Hoodies, reimagined vintage Camo Jackets, Sweatshirts and more. We can all use a message that we’re not alone in our challenges. A bad day or difficult start does NOT define you. His Heart Love is a friendly reminder that’s so necessary.

I went to school and studied Fashion Merchandising at Bauder College. I interned at Saks Fifth Avenue in the visual department and started working there after. I knew fashion was my main love and started styling and personal shopping through college and growing connections with modeling agencies and photographers.

Our road has not been smooth but, Blessed. Sometimes it’s challenging to stay motivated or feel that your message is being received or even understood. Being able to navigate marketing and making solid decisions regarding what product or production company to use. Raising capital and deciding different brand strategies. Speaking plainly, sometimes it’s challenging to be in business at all and still have life lifeing. You still exist personally and those requirements don’t fade just because you are low in stock of a certain color of an item or a client is not happy. We’re still growing and learning each day but, the support and love I receive far outweighs any challenges.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
FOOD would absolutely be involved!! Did that sound a bit greedy? Oh well. We’d have to visit The Breakfast Boys, Breakfast At Barney’s and Flight Club at Star Metals to name a few spaces. We’d bike the beltline and shop Ponce City Market. If it’s the first Friday of the month we’d visit the High Museum and dance the night away.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Oh WOW!! First and foremost GOD is my source! Even when an individual or organization supports in any way, we know GOD is the provider and the individual is the vessel. We’re INSPIREd by Fashion, We CONNECT over Food and we’re UNITEd by Music. This is the perfect introduction to the company name and tagline; Hisheartlove – Inspire, Connect, Unite. The brand falls under my Joe Stuckey & Co. LLC umbrella, There are SOOOO many people that are mega blessings to my brand and me. I can only name a few here. AAA Digital Repographics (aaadi.com) has been a key system of support in sharing knowledge and resources. Don’t hesitate to contact them for any of your printing, billboard, wall graphics or banner needs. Dr. L. Nyrobi Moss of (goddesscomplexcostumes.com) she’s an amazing costumer and stylist.. Jen Farris of (jen-farris.com) is an outstanding location scout. Chances are, you’ve seen her work in your favorite movies and or shows.
