We had the good fortune of connecting with Jarrett Fields and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jarrett, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
“Find beauty in the darkness”, and let its remarkable power inspire you. Even in the bleakest moments, hope exists if only we search within. When we shift our perspective and look for beauty in the darkness, we open ourselves up to a profound new experience that can change our lives. The complex emotions that arise from this search can be life-changing, leaving us feeling inspired, invigorated, and empowered.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My artistry is driven by a desire to imbue meaning and purpose. I strive to promote kindness and compassion without expecting anything in return. Recently, I have been focusing on producing high-quality, detailed graphic works. A prominent piece in my recent collection, “Mental Warfare” centers around mental health issues and aims to challenge the existing stigma through striking visuals. The key message that drives my passion is that it is okay to feel vulnerable and have mental health issues. I believe it’s critical to keep pushing forward and never give up.”

I am deeply committed to promoting mental health awareness, and it is an issue that is very personal to me. Through fashion, I aspire to create a conversation on this crucial topic, which is often overlooked in society. I believe knowledge is power and that every individual has the potential to make a difference. We must remember that we are never alone, and that hope is always present, even in the dark moments. Dreams can indeed become a reality if we hold onto hope and persevere.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Atlanta is an incredible city, and I can never go wrong visiting Ponce City Market either. However, in my free time, I find myself exploring Woodstock, Georgia, a hidden gem I’ve grown to love about 35-40 minutes outside of the city. Ten Sushi Lounge is one of my favorite hangouts in the town. Nevertheless, I am all over the place, and Atlanta offers so much variety. I love visiting the High Museum and the Aquarium, and I adore the whole state of Georgia. I’ve spent a lot of time exploring different places across Georgia, and I continuously discover new things that I love about the state. As an Atlanta native, I have an undying love for my hometown and the state as a whole.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
“I feel incredibly blessed to have such a robust support system. Much of the credit for my success goes to my good friend, False Perception. He gave me my first big break in the fashion industry, and we rapidly expanded internationally, both as a brand owner and as an artist. False has always been in my corner, and we continue to create pieces together. In fact, I think there will always be a piece in my collections with False’s influence. He truly is like family to me. He believed in me when others might have tried to limit my dreams.”

“I also have tremendous respect for Maxime Plescia-Büchi, a world-renowned artist who I have looked up to for a long time. It was surreal to end up designing pieces together and even becoming friends. Knowing he supports and represents my brand is invaluable to me. Being able to collaborate with both False and Maxime has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will always cherish. I am deeply grateful for their belief in my vision and their support in helping me when I fall.”

“To all the amazing individuals who have purchased a piece from my collection and supported the brand, I love you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has been tremendous and has meant the world to me.”
