How to know whether to keep going or to give up?

How do you know when you should keep going versus when it makes sense to cut your losses and try something new? It’s a difficult decision most entrepreneurs and creatives have faced along their journey and so we asked some brilliant folks from the community to share their thoughts.

Giving up is never an option. This life journey, and especially the entrepreneurial journey, is one of highs and lows, ups and downs, accomplishments and disappointments but in the process of it all, I’m learning to pivot, slow down, and even change course when necessary. Deciding whether to keep going or give up boils down to my purpose—is it worth the fight? Reflecting on this, I must confess that the notion of giving up has visited my thoughts more than once, leaving a testament to my resilient nature. This is a tough question because I almost gave up a couple of times last year. Whenever I think of giving up what keeps me going is the genuine joy I have for creating art through expression.
