The idea for my business was born from both personal and professional experience. As a therapist, I found myself repeatedly sitting with clients—especially women and families in the perinatal period—who felt isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to navigate big transitions like pregnancy, postpartum, grief after loss, or infertility. I originally came up with the idea to start Titan Asset Management because of my personal experience with investment firms. For years and years I would watch them invest my money with mediocre results, often not even outperforming the S&P 500. I finally decided to fix this problem and create my own hedge fund. When I was a little girl I would take the Sears and JCPenney catalogs and circle all of the clothes and shoes that I wanted. That’s when I developed a love for fashion. Being the oldest of 8 children,(6 of us grew up in the same house) and my parents were young when they started a family therefore financially money was tight so we did not have designer items.
