How did you come up with the idea for your business?


It takes a lot more than an idea to build a business, but there can’t be a business without the idea. So we asked folks who’ve built wonderful businesses to tell us about how they came up with the idea in the first place.

The idea for my business came about like most of my ideas. You could say Divine Intervention mixed with a good portion of circumstance. I always knew what a very special phenomenon it was to be a twin and that I should take full advantage of that. It was also a coincidence that the name of my business was also the initials of my name, the vision for RichTwins was that I wanted my twin and I to be rich but not just financially. I saw us being rich in all aspects of our lives from our emotional, mental, and physical health to our social, occupational, and creative wellness. I wanted that philosophy to be translated in the products I would create and the importance of those categories of wellness to be received and understood by the community of people I would eventually reach and impact. I came up with the idea for my business when I realized how many illnesses are a direct result of eating habits and the quality of the food we eat. I concluded from the clients, friends and family that I talked to that most people do not eat healthy because they are worried about cost, taste and satisfaction. I figured if I can satisfy the appetite, keep food affordable and create amazing flavor combinations I could encourage people to eat foods that heal the body instead of deteriorate it. Read more>>

I have always had a passion for all things makeup and beauty from a young age . I remember being a little girl and always wanting to style my own hair, play dress-up, and put on makeup. As I got older, I fell more in love with getting all dolled up. I wanted other women to feel as beautiful as I did whenever I would do my makeup, so I started offering makeup services to others. It’s a good feeling to see my clients happy and with a new level of confidence when they leave my chair. Read more>>
