We love ourselves a good quote and so we asked our community to share their favorite quotes and affirmations with us and we’ve highlighted some below.

Monique Thompsson | Creative Artist, Evangelist & Educator

Yes. I have a favorite quote. That quote is as follows: “The artist is within you, No one can display the color of your character but you. So PUSH!”- Monique Thompson This quote has a deeper meaning for me. It means that no matter what you face; circumstances, challenges or obstacles (the “colors” of life), anyone can move forward and finish what they were created to do. This quote has such a deep meaning because of the life experiences I’ve had. I like quite a few things about this quote, but what I like the most, is that it is original and backed by facts. Eva Melton | Spiritual Healer and Minister

“Resources rise to meet the vision” is my favorite quote and affirmation. Early one morning around 3 am before I was fully awake, these words were given to me by Spirit. It is both a quote and an affirmative prayer. In some traditions it would be called a prophetic decree. Personally, it is indicative of a spiritual principle that resources do actually appear to meet true spiritual vision. It is also an affirmative prayer for me now in the present tense. It affirms that resources are rising to meet the true vision that I hold for my life. Without vision, we are lost. This quote holds the key to manifestation. When we can rest with and set our intention towards our vision in a certain vibratory state, we become co-creators in the immaterial becoming material. Read more>>

Alan Joseph | Professional Photographer and Tax Consultant

My favorite quote is “Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard”. I’m not sure who said it but it has stuck with me for many years. The phrase is important to me because it highlights the fact that although someone may be naturally gifted at something, there is someone else that may not be naturally gifted at that craft but can quickly “close the gap” with discipline and putting in the work in. The other side to it is keeping the talented person humble and in a state of constant learning to not get comfortable. Read more>>

Taylor Fish | Financal Advisor & Drink Distributor

I bargained with Life for a penny, and Life would pay no more,
However I begged at evening When I counted my scanty store; Life is a just employer. He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial’s hire, Only to learn, dismayed, That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid” ― Jessie B. Rittenhouse I got this quote from one of my favorite books Think and Grow Rich by Napoline Hill . This quote simply means whatever you ask you shall receive as long as you believe and put the work in. I love this quote because it tells you the secret in life, the secret to success and how to gain success. Read more>>

Markita Jackson | Personal Brand Consultant

The affirmation I consistently speak to people in any situation whether it is personal, or professional is that “It is ALWAYS your turn.” I tell people this to remind them that they don’t have to wait to grow. And they don’t have to get permission from anyone to follow their dreams and goals. It means there is no line for you to wait in for you to start bringing your ideas to life. Read more>>
