We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Webb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am from Garner, North Carolina and I still reside in North Carolina.

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Garner, North Carolina. My family has an entrepreneurial background, which has helped me with becoming who I am today! When living in Garner, my neighbor was a seamstress. I would go over her house to have certain garments altered; and when she’d use her sewing machine, I thought that was the coolest thing ever! I would say 15 years later, I now own a sewing machine and have been taught how to use it properly.

Growing up, my parents always wanted me to do something in the Medical Field. I went from wanting to become a Veterinarian to getting accepted into a Nursing Program at two colleges. Moving forward, I was in Anatomy & Physiology and realized this was not what I wanted to pursue my career in. I was working Three jobs at this time and I was barely making ends meet. Once 2020 came about, I started two businesses and I have not looked back ever since.

I can proudly say I am now an entrepreneur and I love what I do.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am proud to be an entrepreneur at the age of 24. I am most excited to be on my third future in a magazine, being able to maintain genuine friendships with companies in different states and most importantly having the opportunity to meet people who are putting me into doors I never knew I would be in.

Getting where I am today is not a surprise!! I knew I would’ve been an entrepreneur, I had to have Faith in order to wait on something that I prayed or 2 years ago. I wrote down all of my manifestations and watching them come into fruition one at a time is all I ever wanted. I am blessed!

Lessons I learned with being an entrepreneur, never doubt yourself, maintain having the “If it’s in your mind, write it down, affirm and watch everything come into fruition” mindset, discipline and the importance of financial literacy within a business.

I would like others to know that my brand is Black Owned, Woman Led and I support the LGBTQ Community. I want to make sure women (and soon men) will be comfortable in Britts Bikini and Swimwear. I am an advocate for body positivity and I love seeing my clients genuinely happy.

I would love to give a shoutout to God for never leaving my side. I have learned to have Faith, remain having patience and being still within this journey of my businesses. I would love to shout out myself, because I have cried many tears (happy tears of course), worked 20-25 hour shifts to make sure the quality of my products are perfected and making sure I give my clients something that is memorable. I want to shoutout to my immediate family and friends. I owe my flowers to both of my parents for always loving me and never giving up on me. My two friends, Rochelle and Briana! They have been there for me since day one and have seen my growth and progress within my businesses.
